Remember the people who died in Oslo, 22 July

Love is the only answer is what the Norwegians have said yesterday during the remembrance day, one year after terror had attacked their country.

One week ago we were in Oslo and saw the people building the stage for this Remembrance Concert. We had been cycling in wet Norway and finished our holiday in the capital. Last week Sunday it was finally sunny, contrary to what it was yesterday. The angels in this northern country were crying and people were listening to the singers and musicians in the rain. It was more than appropriate, since the attacks of a year ago have been so devastating and so surreal that you can only imagine that the sky wanted to cry.

One year ago we learned about the attacks in Oslo and Utøya on a campsite in France. A single man killed 77 people and injured tens of innocent people in a few hours. Watch and listen to the Concert in Oslo to see how the Norwegians remember and cope with this moment of terror and disaster which created a schism in their life and history.
